I had an absolutely magical experience at the Elgin Hotel in Pelling! From the moment I arrived, I was greeted with cherry brandy and exceptional hospitality from Basudev. The views of the Himalayas were breathtaking, and the grounds were stunningly maintained. However, although the food was delicious, I wished there were more local options available. Overall, this hotel is a hidden gem that truly made my stay unforgettable.

My stay at the Elgin was quite an unforgettable experience. The views of Mount Kanchenjunga were simply breathtaking, especially from my room which made the trip worthwhile. The service was genuinely friendly and accommodating, though I found the dining options to be somewhat limited and not very varied. Overall, the ambiance and hospitality were delightful, but the food quality could use some improvement.
